So we did go to the Pumpkin patch, well not really patch, it's a farm that's got the pumpkins already picked, you don't get to pick them yourself or anything... And it was cold and raining the entire flippin time! Cold! We did get a few snaps of Alex sitting with the pumpkins and we bought two big ones to bring home, and I will post the pics I got, but we're planning to go back again sometime this week, maybe to a different one this time, when it's NOT raining!... and do better :(
I'm starting my first projects with spray painting today. Went to my Goodwill for the first time yesterday and got a few things to Re-Do :) They're sitting in the yard drying, and the others are waiting... And I need to go get more paint... Hopefully they turn out ok, will post before and after pics when I'm done... or maybe I'll do round ones when they're done drying... don't know yet.
I'm getting impatient with this whole crawling thing. I know all babies are different and Alex's main goals seem to be growing teeth and eating! 4 teeth and 26 lbs, but NOT crawling. I'm so anxious for him to crawl, even though I should probably be celebrating that he's not because it's easier now, but he's just so cute when we stand him up to hold onto things and when he does maybe put his butt in the air and think about crawling, right before he changes his mind.
We're planning to start Christmas shopping around the first of november. Excited about that too! Alex is going to get some cool toys!
Can't wait for Thanksgiving in the mountains with my parents. Mountains and snow and turkey mmmm...
Also, got some scrappy material for really super cheap yesterday and once I'm done with this spraying experience I'm going to start a quilt :) Yay!!!!

Don't be bummed about the crawling. He might just skip it all together and go straight to walking "crawlings for babies!" ;)
Babies excel in different areas(gross motor, fine motor, language, sensory, emotional)
...Rhys is NO where near his first words yet...he just grunt and laughs. Besides, once he's up and moving...it's SO MUCH MORE exhausting!
i meant to say they excel in different areas at different times...so if he's doing one thing chances are he won't be doing another until he's got the first down.
One of these days he's going to take off with the crawling and surprise you!
I love that you're into all of the craftiness and DIY!
Don't worry he will surprise you when you don't expect.
Hey, I need to know what Alex wants for Christmas! And you guys too!
